In times of stress we revert to our training. At TRTG we train on 2 levels; physical defense and avoidance through the sciences of situational awareness and behavioral analysis.
Our “Foundations” course is designed to introduce and teach fundamental concepts, principles and techniques of self-defense. Once completed you will earn TRTG yellow belt in Self-Defense and be eligible for TRTG's next level courses where we dive into more advanced techniques and continue to solidify our self-defense DNA.
In our "Foundations" class, You will be introduced to the basic principles of Situational Awareness/Behavior Analysis - Strike Theory - Closed and Open Hand Strikes - Leg and Knee Strikes - Defenses Against Chokes & Abductions - Tactical Anatomy (where to strike) - Using Leverage as a Force Multiplier - Minimize Vulnerabilities While Driving - Physical Engagement Strategies
The Foundations course is 4 weeks with a one 1-hour class each week. Cost is $100/student.
You don’t have to be an athlete or “in shape” to successfully learn self-defense skills. Everyone is welcome. Everyone can learn. Click on the link below to get started.
Our next class begins on April 4th at 6 pm. If you have questions and would like more information, please email don@trtg.us. We are not trying to build physical warriors but rather add a warrior compartment in the mindset of our students to summon when needed. Therefore, being in shape or even healthy is not a prerequisite to attend our classes. We accept anyone who wants to learn personal defense and safety.
