If the headlines you read today scare you, join the club. Even walking downtown, shopping, leaving work, eating out, seeing a movie, getting groceries, etc. can be risky and leave us vulnerable. It isn’t confined to certain “bad” neighborhoods. Crime occurs in every populated square mile of our community.
